Elle got her start tattooing 11 years ago after working in Saskatchewan’s film industry. Owner of Midnight Oil, Elle has fostered a culture that feels more like a family than a tattoo shop. Elle’s art is bold, unbound, and instantly recognizable. She’s made her mark doing large scale realism, water-colour work, and experimental trash but Elle can do it all.

Teacher, father, and tattoo artist; Nolan has been at it for 8 years and has no plans of slowing down. Always learning, Nolan’s commitment to challenging himself and growing as an artist is his greatest strength. Nolan’s bold and dynamic body of work includes plenty of floral, neo-traditional, and Japanese work but he’s always willing to try something new.

The”go-getterist” of go-getters, Hope does many things and she does them well. Mother to three girls, fine artist of twelve years, and tattoo artist of two, Hope’s work can be described as a mash-up of folk, neo-traditional, and illustrative; pulling inspiration from literature, folk lore, and nature, and most of all; her three daughters.
Bryan Neufeld
An exceptionally talented graphic designer from Winnipeg, Bryan brings something a little different to the Midnight Oil Family. Bryan started his apprenticeship under Elle in August 2019.
